The Pudding Club is Jen and Gill’s antenatal-class-with-a-difference.
We know that many birth classes focus on labour and delivery, so we don’t talk about that, but about what to do next – when you are suddenly faced with a whole new human to keep alive!
We have so many people come to The Baby Room who, after a chat about feeding or wind or something say
‘why didn’t we know this before…?’ and ‘surely someone should have shown us this…!’
So this is the class for you – all those things you didn’t know you didn’t know.
You are invited to come along before your due date so we can talk about normal newborn behaviour, breastfeeding, bonding, slings and nappies, and also eat some delicious handmade puddings!!
We hold this exclusive course every few months, and our graduates agree its rather special! A one of a kind class not to be missed
Each of the three sessions will look at a different stage of life with your newborn, we will guide you through that 4th Trimester so you have a better idea of what to expect when ‘they’ let you go home!
Desserts we have made have included Fresh Fruit Salad, Tarte au Pommes, Chocolate Mousecake, Chocolate Cheesecake, Macarons, Chocolate Roulade, Meringue Roulade, Scones, Hot seasonal crumble and custard, creme brulee and more.
The menu will change each time, but will always be delicious! Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or food preferences so we can cater for you – we try to make sure everyone has at least two desserts they can enjoy on the night, and have catered for vegans, nut allergy, coeliacs and dairy allergies before (though fortunately not all on the same night!)
The next date is:
September 2023 – we are working on dates…
We open at 7pm for refreshments and pudding to start at 7.30pm and we run until 9pm when there is time for more pudding, questions and shopping.
The cost is £50 for a couple or £30 for an individual
